Exclusive Representation
Over ninety nine percent of real estate advertisements are placed by sellers or by brokers who represent sellers' interests. No one would count on the opposing party's attorney to represent them in a courtroom, and neither should you as a buyer count on a seller's or landlord's broker to represent you in your real estate matters. When looking for real estate, buyers and small businesses need to stop and ask the question: who represents our interests?
Many purchasers assume that their attorney can represent their interests competently, and often they can—but attorneys rarely get involved in real estate transactions until the contracts are ready to be drawn and the major parameters of the deal have been agreed upon. Buyers are best prepared when they have an experienced real estate professional representing their interests at the outset.
At Tanner Fagan Real Estate, we represent your interests. We'll streamline your position through a simple yet thorough process that maximizes your position as a buyer … assessing your needs, clarifying your goals, qualifying your purchasing power, and essentially solidifying your position in the negotiating process.
As your buyer's representative, we do not represent the seller. We do not represent the landlord. We still look to them for all our fees and commissions, and disclosure at the outset allows us to represent a buyer's or tenant's position in this market.
